ORCAS Ultra Marathon and 25km takes place on 20 April 2025
The Orcas Running Club in Durban is gearing up to host its inaugural ultra-marathon this April, marking a significant milestone for the club and the local running community. This highly anticipated event will be the only official 50-kilometre road race in the city of eThekwini, providing athletes with a rare and exciting challenge.
It will serve as a qualifying race for the Ultemate Human Race or Comrades Marathon, making it an essential event for long-distance runners aiming to test their endurance and secure their spot in one of the world’s most renowned ultra-marathons.
The event caters to runners of all levels by offering a variety of race distances, including 5km, 10km, 25km, ensuring that both elite athletes and social runners can participate.
