Club Rules & Code of Conduct
1. Club Kit & Uniform Policy
• Official club colours: Purple and Yellow lazer vest or shirt with black shorts or tights. • The club vest must display the ASA license number pinned front and back. • Mixed or unapproved colours are not permitted during official races. • Members awaiting their official kit may wear alternative colours only if using a temporary license. • Non-compliance with the club kit policy may result in a fine or warning.
2. Behavior & Representation
• Members must always uphold respectful conduct — during races, training, and on social media. • Represent the club and sponsors positively in all environments. • Offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate comments or behavior are strictly prohibited. • Alcohol or drug use during any official club event or race is not allowed.
3. Communication & Membership Fees
• All members must ensure their ASA license and club registration are renewed annually before the deadline. • Membership fees must be paid in full for your registration to be activated. • All official communication will be done via the club’s WhatsApp channels and email newsletters.
4. Training & Participation
• Members are encouraged to attend time trials, long runs, and races as scheduled by their regional hubs. • Always inform your hub leader if you are representing the club at an external event. • Safety first — wear reflective gear and stay hydrated during training.

Training & Time Trials
• Weekly Time Trials: Each region hosts official club time trials once a week. Details are shared via the WhatsApp group and on our Social Media pages. • Group Training Runs: Regular long runs and speed sessions take place on weekends and
midweek evenings. • Safety Reminders: – Always run with visibility gear in low light. – Hydrate well before and after sessions. – Inform your hub leader if you are injured or taking time off training.

ASA & Provincial Registration Information
• ASA (Athletics South Africa) licensing is mandatory for all members. • Your license allows participation in official races nationwide. • Provincial affiliation: – Hollywood AC CGA & AGN (Gauteng) – Hollywood AC KZNA (KwaZulu-Natal) – Hollywood AC WC (Western Cape) – Hollywood AC LP (Limpopo)

Health & Safety
