Due to circumstances beyond our control, we’ve had to move the Hollywoodbets Durban 10km race from Sunday, 31 August 2025 to Saturday, 30 August 2025.
We know this change may impact some of your plans, and we’re truly sorry for any inconvenience it may cause. Please know that this decision wasn’t made lightly. Our top priority is to deliver a safe, well-supported and memorable race experience for everyone -and this change is the best way to ensure just that.

The Hollywoodbets Durban 10km race, originally set for Sunday, 31 August 2025, will now take place on Saturday, 30 August 2025 (Same course, same spirit – just one day earlier!)
If you cannot participate on the new race date, you can request a refund from 28 July2025 to 8 August 2025.

Hollywood Athletics Club Elite Purple Star Reghen Magwai finally added the title that evaded him after he not only took a scintillating victory at the Durban International Marathon on Sunday but was also crowned the South African Champion in a race that incorporated the ASA National Marathon Championship.
Tayla Kavanagh delivered a defining statement of dominance at the ASA Senior Track and Field Championships, completing a sensational double victory in the 5 000m and 10 000m, an achievement that perfectly reflects the high-performance language of Hollywood Athletics Club and its Elite Purple Stars.
